Hey, I applied for a thai single entry visa today from KL consulate, my Russian Passport.
The lady at the counter said that I might be rejected because I already had a single entry TR done in Jan 2019 that I did NOT extend.
Here's a quick history:
1. EDU visa in 2018. hand to hand combat in CM (Visa done in KL) She asked me what kind of EDU it was.
1. Tourist visa in Vientiane end of 2018
1. Tourist visa in KL done in Jan 2019
1. 4 months spent outside of thailand
1. Return last month and got 30 days exempt at BKK airport
She even added that even if I get this current TR visa, then it will be the last i can get this calendar year, meaning that I can have up to 2 tourist visa, single entry, per calendar year. (Is that really a thing now?)
My post is to ask what would be the best course of action in case I get rejected, because my luggage and belonging are all still in CM. I see multiple options:
1. Gamble and take my flight on Friday and hope to get a 30 day exmpt on my arrival at Krabi airport. I have on me more than 20k THB in cash, condo booking in CM, and onward flights.
1. Take a flight to vientiane and try getting a visa there
1. Take a flight to vientiane and try to do a border crossing
1. Go back to my home country and try to get a METV (worse option)
Thanks for the help folks
