I live in Cambodia at the moment on a 6 month visa and I want to go back to Thailand to study Mandarin Chinese this time (had a Thai ED visa a few years ago), but the school is asking me to get a tourist visa before I come back and apply.

I would like to know if the Thai embassy actually grants tourist visas to foreigners living in Cambodia and if there are no requierements like having to prove that I am a permanent resident (retired) or something like that. I can’t apply from my home country as I haven’t been there for 10 years and I am not planning on going back.

I have no history of border, of visa runs, or

any warnings from immigration, been visiting Thailand since 2001, but never spent more than 3-4 months a year

Hi my plan is to get covid extension in a few days, but in the case that doesnt work, can I fly to cambodia and apply for a new thai visa there? I have been here for 3 months now. Appreciate the help
