Hi,

Can anyone recommend any consulate or embassy outside Thailand that you've had a good experience with applying for a visa?

The country I'm in at the moment, the visa office has one employee that rarely shows up to work, it's 2 hours flight from where I live and they don't answer the phone lol.

Thinkig of just flying to a different spot and applying from there. Thanks

Most my experience have been good, or better than what you are describing. However, you are also limited by what type of visa and what the embassy will do for you.

You could try applying for a visa from Los Angeles. It's online so you dont have to go there. I am a US resident but their form still require I upload proof of residence, which was a copy of my passport. I doubt they even looked.

You can try. I think the worse that will happen is the decline you.

The Embassy in Athens, Greece is good, but it only allows residents to use it.
