Does anyone know if you need to book an appointment for the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh when applying for a visa? I canโt see anything on the website but know that people have been caught out at other embassies. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
No appointment is needed for obtaining a visa at the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh; it operates as a walk-up service. However, it is advisable to allow for a processing time of three working days for tourist visas, as stated on their website.
and on that note we wish the O/P well in their endeavor..
we are done

The Thai consulate in Phnom Penh is WALK UP service, no appt needed, BUT they have 3 working day processing for tourist visas (it's stated on their website)
, this will mean Tuesday, due to the holiday. I think we will have to cut our losses and go to Penang (nicer place to visit anyway!)

If you have a recent history of staying in Thailand during COVID-19 and until now, you may want to discuss your Thai Visa run plans for a New Thai Visa with an experienced Border And Visa run service company.
Tell them your passport nation and recent history of staying in Thailand.
They will know what you need and can do to get a NEW Thai Visa.
If you do have a recent history of staying in Thailand DO NOT FLY INTO THAILAND.
And the Thai Embassy in Vientiane may be a friendlier place to get a NEW Thai tourist visa. ASK the Visa Run service company.
