90 day Reporting. Does the period reset when you leave the country and return i.e. it starts again from the date you re-enter?

Question: If am leaving my condo to go to another Province for a week or 2, possibly staying in a couple of overnight places, and having my Online TM30 to which I can log in, do I need to put in the details of my departure, then put in the details of my return?

I have not had to use the Online TM30 previously, so not sure of the procedure. Thanks
