Hi guys, is there any clarification on international flights out of bangkok? I heard some rumours DMK will close tonight. We will be travelling to the UK and wanted to leave either tomorrow or Monday. Any reliable insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Answer summary

The post seeks clarification on rumors regarding the closure of Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok and the status of international flights, particularly to the UK. Community comments reveal that rumors are prevalent but lack credible sources. It is suggested that while low-cost carriers may be reducing services, long-haul flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) are expected to continue without interruption. Users are advised to confirm travel plans directly with airlines.

DMK won’t close because Airasia is operating from there and all their domestic flight are still scheduled as normal.

If DMK closes it will because all the low cost carriers have cancelled their services

Long Haul flights go from BKK which is unlikely to close anyway
