✈️ Hey guys,

Am I reading the most up to date information when I read that I can now fly directly into Chiangmai from overseas and just need to book the 1st night in a SHA plus hotel? ie Charming Chiangmai scapped? (I understand Thailand Pass is still required). Thank you, the extra reassurance is appreciated!

Answer summary

Yes, you can fly directly into Chiang Mai from overseas, but you will still need to book a SHA+ hotel for your first night and comply with the requirements of the Thailand Pass. Currently, the only direct international flight into Chiang Mai is from Singapore, but more may be added in the future. It is also noted that the SHA++ or SHA+ Extra hotels are compatible with the Test and Go scheme.

You can do your test and go in Chiang Mai if your international flight flies directly into Chiang Mai (not through Bangkok). As of today, the only international flight into Chiang Mai is through Singapore. Hoping more will be added over time.
