Anyone else have Pacific Cross health insurance? Its taking them almost 9 days just to get my application processed. If this is their level of service just to get my money then maybe it'll be worse after they have my money. I think maybe 🤔 I should go with another insurance company.

Recommendations?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a user's frustrating experience with Pacific Cross health insurance, highlighting delays in application processing and concerns about the company's service levels. Several comments provide mixed reviews: some users had negative experiences with claims and applications, while others reported satisfactory processing times and customer service. Recommendations for alternative insurance providers such as Cigna and Easycare are offered, with one user mentioning their positive experience with Easycare during a critical health situation.

A+ Easycare. Cheaper and better customer service. My other half had a cancer scare last year and they handled the process brilliantly.

I gave up on them based on their service when I tried to apply.

did you have a hospital stay or other claim that they took care of?

No. My policy with another insurer was expiring and I wanted to make sure there was no gap in coverage but they were unable to process my application quick enough or communicate effectively about the time it was taking. So I ended up just renewing my policy with my original insurance company.

I had also a negative experience with them during the application proces. avoid them!

I have them. They have been great and fast for me

I have recently finalised my 12 month insurance policy with Pacific Cross, and yes it took the best part of 2 weeks to process all the documentation including my 13 pages of medical test results (I am 70 with a few pre-existing medical conditions and therefore exclusions), policy offer & acceptance, payment authority, insurance certificate & insurance policy.

There were a few hiccups along the way but the overall service and communication was helpful, friendly & respectful.

Just remember, multi-national health insurance providers won't go broke!!!!!

Cigna, go with a global

Expecting Thai insurance companies to pay out .. ahhh think again .. 😕

You can provide them the application form frist and after they approve you can make a payment, Krungthai Axa also can do this way. It's takes some time because there are many processes, especially if you are from sanction country naka.

yeah 9 days is not acceptable when other companies are about 2-3 days for approval.

I had a friend who had their health insurance. He had a stroke and was in the ICU. They would not pay the hospital directly for his care. His long term girlfriend ended up taking the money out of her personal account to pay. He died quite quickly and she told me that they only paid about 40% of the costs and that involved many hours on the phone for her to get that much refunded.
