I arrived in Thailand on the 21st September on a 60 day exempt and have a flight booked for Laos after 58 days where I’m staying for 9 days i then come back to Thailand and have another flight booked for Bali after 58 days, where I’ll be spending 10 days i then arrive back in Thailand beginning of February and have my flight booked home to the Netherlands end of March. My question is will I have any problems at immigration? I don’t expect to as I’m not doing any extensions to my 60 days and I’m going home within 6 months, to me this is just a holiday but would welcome views from people who know more than me concerning the re entering Thailand etc. I don’t really feel like applying for a retirement visa yet as I’m only going to be here for 6 months in a year. I just spent 5 days in Thaïland, if i come back next month on exempt visa ( i am french) so i will spend 60 days + 30 days extension, can i do a visa-run after that ?

Maybe spend 1 week outside of Thaïland and back is more safe ?

Or is better to apply for a tourist visa in Vientiane ?

Before that, i was not in Thaïland for 2 years.

Also, i will renew my passport, but they will still know when i been Thaïland, right ?

Hi… I’m writing on behalf of a friend who’s interested to retire in Thailand. She holds a Singapore passport so able to enter Thailand with exempt visa. She wants to apply for a non O retirement visa… with the current situation with opening account with banks… how is she going to transfer the 800,000 baht if she’s not allowed to open a bank account ? TM30 online registration question:

I own a Condo but still only travel with 60day exempt stamp to Thailand for vacation.

Most of those trips do include border crossings and trips to other SEA countries like Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam.

Now I have registered an account and got my condo address approved from the TM30 website but reading instructions I am a bit confused as it mentions I have to provide the TM30 certificate export to an immigration officer: [members only]

I am wondering how many TM30, each entry into Thailand???, I have to get done and really need to provide the certificate to the immigration office?

How are you handling this with real property in Thailand but not living there?

Is there anywhere else other other that Vietnam to get the visa quickly?

Question-I have a DTV Visa-added my spouse when I traveled to Taipei. I now need to add my 16yo to the DTV. Do I need to leave Thailand again to apply online in order to add him to my visa? He’s currently here with us on an 60 day exempt.

My contract with IT company state that job location is Berlin. But internal company policy allows to work 2 weeks from abroad. I have an email from my boss and message in the HR ticketing system to prove that I was granted with 2 weeks working from Thailand.

Shall I attach these into the application or wait if they will ask. Also is two weeks remote working per year acceptable ?
