Hi all,

My contract with IT company state that job location is Berlin. But internal company policy allows to work 2 weeks from abroad. I have an email from my boss and message in the HR ticketing system to prove that I was granted with 2 weeks working from Thailand.

Shall I attach these into the application or wait if they will ask. Also is two weeks remote working per year acceptable ?

Thinking about coming back to Thailand via Phuket after a quick trip to Vietnam (when my visa expires). I’ve already done a border run and 2 visa extensions as I’ve fallen in love with Thailand amd cancelled all my other travel plans to stay here. Hi! Is there any way to apply for a visa once I’m already in the country? As an Australian I have 30 days visa free but want to extend my stay, I’m unsure if I’m able to do that online or have to go to an immigration office. If so, where is best to go in Phuket?

Can you get into Thailand with criminal convictions?

Coming from NZ and convictions are driving related and most over 7 years ago.

I have booked return flight after a few month as I want to travel to other Asian countries after the 30 days exempt visa , but have not booked those other trips yet . Does the return tiket must show exact 30 days when I get my stamp ? So is better to book ahead of time any other tickets ? Or can I book any other links ?

How many days before the exempt visa expires should I apply for the 30 days extension and where as I am traveling around Thailand from location to location.

Greetings….I will be arriving in Thailand on Jan 12 and then leaving for Cambodia on Jan 15 . I plan to return to Thailand on January 23 for two months. Can I enter on January 12 on the exempt visa and then use a 60 day visa for my entry on January 23. If I get the 60 day visa I understand I can only enter once. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am in a bit of a pickle time-wise. Currently awaiting final approval letter on EEA visa, it should arrive this week or early next one (already paid). However, my current extended TR visa is bound to end on 27.10, so I need to think of plan b).

I wanted to already book a flight to KL and back to Phuket on the same day, as the flight late next week is relatively cheap. Waiting until early next week can double the price probably.

If my approval comes in time, I will schedule EEA affixing for the Phuket entry, that would be plan a).

However if I don't, I wanted to attempt re-entry on exempt and figure out EEA affix later on. That said, same day re-entry via air feels potentially risky.

My visa history is just 3 months last year Nov-Jan (TR+extension+land bounce to get extra 2 days), and 3 months now on TR+extension.

Should I be afraid of getting denied, and should rather plan at least overnight stay in KL? Or perhaps the immigration officer could be more understandable considering I have almost approved EEA (already have approval letter with me)?

Or, traditionally, it's all luck based? 😂
