TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent communications indicate that Thailand's entry for tourists has reverted back to a standard 30-day allowance. Despite previous discussions about extending this to 45 or even 60 days, the current situation confirms the 30-day rule remains in place. There are ongoing debates and confusion about potential future changes, with some suggesting adjustments might be implemented by the end of June or early July. Commentary from expats highlights the uncertainty and communication missteps surrounding these visa changes.

Just like the Russians they've revoked 30 days from their visas π€£

It never changed from the 30 days visa exempt, they just jumped the gun and hopefully learnt a lesson.

The news was correct, the bill passed but still gone to the house for finalisation. Should be in effect in the next few months.

I heard the 60 day will start end june / ear;ly July. Anybody know if we will be able to get the 30 day extension on the new visa ? Same as we can on the 30 day at the moment. Also heard it will only be temporary , hope not anybody heard anything about this.
no MFA had a problem on their site on Thursday. I looked to send to a friend on Friday 30th and the MFA replaced it with the implemented late June early July. Guess MFA didn't tell Immi.
