DTV: Approved

1) Submitted in Philipines at the end of the day on 8/11

2) asked for extra documents on 8/14 (credit card statements showing that i actually paid for the 1 year thai power course)

3) approved around 11 AM 8/18. 5 years.

Has anyone ever been denied entry into Thailand on a DTV, e.g. because of not taking part in the soft power activity anymore or not meeting the 500k requirement anymore?

how many days need to be remaining on your visa before applying for a ED visa ??

I submitted my application on the 14th from Indonesia (Jakarta embassy) around 4pm.

I got the approval email 4 hours ago.

No extra documents required.

Submitted 6 months of bank statements and only the last one with the 500K THB. Proof of the services I provide and proof of LLC incorporation.

64 year old semi retired nomad male with monthly pension of 26K BHT and can meet and exceed the 500K in bank account comfortably.

I am looking to file for DTV or possibly 1 year non immigrant visa. Looking potentially to live permanently in Thailand but not 100% sure of this yet.

Opinions on what is the best option and most successful?

Hi all, did you manage to complete the online DTV application using only a mobile phone, or a laptop is required? I am planning to fly to Vietnam for my DTV, I was wondering if I should carry my laptop with me.

My plan is to upload all the documents before landing in Vietnam, then finalize the submission once landed there, if that makes sense.

Will there be any issue to apply for work permit before 15 days of expiry of Non-B?

Hi, I know this has been asked before, I have searched the group and can’t find the answer. I’ve been asked to send photos of every passport page with the date and time on it, any suggestions on how to do this ? My phone setting won’t allow me to add a date and time stamp.

*edit if I scroll up on a photo you can see date and time, but I would need to screenshot it for it show, will screenshots be accepted ?
