Thank you! So, this shouldn't affect their ability to enter Thailand in the future under a new visa? (I'm not sure what an overstay stamp in their passports means in terms of future entry!)
This is a timely post because we just returned from a trip to Malaysia, and were told we needed to file a new TM30, each time we re-enter the country. Is this just for domestic travel, or also for international? We didn't stay at a hotel, so there wouldn't be any record of us changing addresses. Thanks in advance!
Thanks so much for the response, Tod! Our Penang trip would likely be before her first 30 days is up, so upon re-entry to Thailand, she'd have more than 60 days before her departure home to the States, most likely. Am I understanding you correctly, that if she gets a SETV from a Thai Consulate in the States, she would get 60 days in Thailand? (If so, what happens if she leaves for Penang within those 60 days? Does that void the rest of that visa?) Thank you for your insight!
