What are the overstay consequences for minors in Thailand on a volunteer visa?

Overstay question:

My family is here on a one year multi entry volunteer visa, so we all have to exit every 90 days. My husband just returned from a work trip outside of Thailand, but my kids and I need to exit on/before June 12. We are leaving Thailand July 11 for several months. Wondering if I exit solo in the next few weeks without the kids, (kids all under age 9), what’s the overstay consequence for minors, with the overstay just under one month?

We can all head to the border in a few weeks if need be, but since my husband doesn’t need to, just wondering if we could save a road trip with young kids, just me exit and return, and then all of us leave July 11 without much issue?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the consequences of overstaying a volunteer visa for minors in Thailand, specifically whether their children, under age 9, would face fines for an overstay of just under a month. Responses clarify that children under 15 years old are not charged overstay fines, and those under 18 cannot face bans due to overstays.

Children under 15 cannot be charged for overstay fines and children under 18 can't be banned for overstay.

She is asking: doing a border run for a new 90 days Admitted to Stay without the children what is the consequence for the minors to be on overstay. Why the mother will be on overstay?
Glen *********
Robert Lagas who was talking about the children - the mother (adult) will be on overstay and she can be arrested, jailed and deported !!!

Children under 15 don't get fined, even when pulled up by the Police they don't go to jail and don't get deported.

Don’t get pulled up by the Police for anything during overstay period...might complicate things

Understood, thanks so much.

then they would be overstaying. The visa doesn't let them stay here, it lets them ENTER the country. Plus the visa they're on has a limit of 90 days per entry.

It's the "admitted until" stamp lets them stay and if they stay longer than that stamp says they're on overstay plain and simple.

Thank you! Their visa is actually good through September, this would just be skipping the 90 day exit, not sure if that makes any difference?

Lauren as long as they're under the ages to be fined or banned it won't do anything.

Now keep in mind, just because kids aren't fined or banned doesn't mean they shouldn't have visas and aren't breaking the law by overstaying. Because they certainly are breaking the law. It's just that there are no real penalties for them.

Thank you! So, this shouldn't affect their ability to enter Thailand in the future under a new visa? (I'm not sure what an overstay stamp in their passports means in terms of future entry!)

No fine for kids. Enter kids overstay in the search you will find plenty of information there.
