What is the best option for a one-year stay in Bangkok: an Education Visa or something else?

Christian Daviez and I believe they now have a 20 year (4 x 5 year visas) for 1 million baht.

For those who will spend most of their time in Thailand for the next 20 years it is a fairly good value.

And you never have to leave the country.

Basically a limited residency program.

What are the options for extending a tourist visa in Thailand if it expires soon?

Cheapest is the overstay but it looks bad on the passport. Personally I would just go do the 1900 baht extension.

Can I get a new Tourist Visa after extending my current 60-day Tourist Visa by crossing into Laos?

Was the visa multi-entry?

If so when is the visa itself valid till?

If multi entry you must exit and renter before visa expires and you will get 60 days and can extend 30 more.

If single entry you need to get a new visa after you exit or come in on visa free stamp.
