thanks so much for the advice. I emailed Thaivisacentre which said I can do it but the fee is a lot of money. So will maybe call into an immigration office myself and have a chat with them 😀
no I believe its not official yet it could be the end of June but no one has been signed in with 60 days as yet according to other posts on the subject!
