Time for COE registration and COE certificate vary according to embassy.

I am in kenya and they were incredibly fast. Hours not days.

The airlines will allow free postponement if you fail test.

Most hotels on ASQ will also allow rebooking.

No one wants to willingly refund.

When should I start planning my flight and paperwork for a trip to Thailand in mid May?

I did everything 6 weeks ahead and then my airline postponed flight to following day! Hotel couldn't accommodate change due to bookings, COE cancelled and you start again!

Some of tge accommodation units are basic. Most golf stays are 2 or 3 nights. So they are not equipped for 15 nights. Balance that against 4 hours outside and 20 inside?
