thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. I want to apply retirement visa after gets in with visa exemption, is there a proper website that I can trust, to list the proper steps I can follow in Bangkok as a Canadian? I am planning to send the required 800k baht in. I see too much conflict information regarding this online.
so it sounds like I need to hire an agent to do all those visa formalities for me in Bangkok since I am using entering with visa exemption. Or, would it be easier for me to just apply an 3-month O visa first at my home in Canada?
I am not there yet. My flight arrives Bangkok on Saturday, i am not sure I can report the TM30 by ourselves on time as they don’t work on weekends. Maybe I have to book a hotel for a day just to let the hotel do the TM30 report?
