AXA Sawasdee is more of a travel insurance, it’s marketed as single entry on main page. Sorry you had bad experience though.

I think only Axa Sawasdee had this clause, no? Axa SmartCare is a regular insurance for locals, and you need to stay in country for at least half a year.

Could be wrong, was not reading too much in terms and conditions of AXA.

I have Luma Hi5. Haven't had to use it, but they have direct billing with major hospitals so don't expect issues. Might switch to AXA next year, went with Luma only because it has coverage in SEA, but since I am mostly staying in Thailand, AXA has a better quote for that for me (and for travels can supplement with travel insurance).

For the yearly extension? There is, 1900 THB.

You get stamped in for a year. After a year you either get extension for 1900THB, or leave and re-enter. Rinse and repeat until your visa is over.

it was unusual as usually police around here don't care about anything, and yes, was equally puzzled about this scenario, not sure what really triggered it.

Theoretically yes, but in my area police was walking around asking about TM30s and threatening with fines. Doubt it's a common thing, moreso with condos, though.

With Thai driver license you can get True Money account, which is quite convenient in 7-Eleven ever since they set a 200THB min. charge on card payments.

Only Bangkok requires 90 day to get certificate. You can get it much easier down south or in CM on day 1.
