TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion addresses the need for reporting the TM30 form when staying in Thailand briefly as a condominium owner. While technically required, it is stated that if you're only in Thailand for 14-20 days and don't plan to interact with immigration, there's no practical need to submit the TM30. However, as a condo owner, one can self-register online if necessary.

You own the condo so register yourself as the owner and you can do your TM30 yourself on line. As Brandon said you will not need it unless going to immigration but it's still a requirement. I do my own and I fly in and out every 2 weeks takes a few minutes in the taxi on my iPad from the airport.

If you mean you're only in Thailand for a couple of weeks before you'll leave, and you won't have any reason to go to the immigration office, then there's no point in doing a TM30. You only need it when you use a service at immigration. Although it's a legal requirement to do it, there's no practical reason if you're just here for a short trip.

Theoretically yes, but in my area police was walking around asking about TM30s and threatening with fines. Doubt it's a common thing, moreso with condos, though.

99% of foreigners in Thailand never know anything about TM30 because they just stay in hotels. Those people would have no idea what the police were talking about. So I'm not sure how effective such a tactic would be.

it was unusual as usually police around here don't care about anything, and yes, was equally puzzled about this scenario, not sure what really triggered it.
