Todd Yowell Yes, the 800,000THB requirement for the elite visa is the COST of the visa. The 800,000THB requirement for the Non OA is the amount that must be held in a bank account. And the requirement for the Non OX is a deposit of 3 million or 1.8 million PLUS annual income of 1.2 million, with 1.5 million staying in the bank at all times. You can withdraw this money, but if you go less than 1.5 million you will encounter problems with your visa, so best to only do this if you plan on canceling your visa and not returning to Thailand (or sorting out a different visa)

The Royal Thai Embassy in Bern released a document that Non OA and Non OX have been granted entry to Thailand beginning September 29 (today)

It specifies Non OA and Non OX, but doesn’t list Non O on the basis of retirement
