Is it acceptable to use a bank statement from April 6th for a visa application on April 28th?

If I were you, I’d request a bank statement dated just a few days before your application. I’m not entirely sure it will make a difference, but I think it’s better to be safe than sorry. Think about it from the perspective of the person reviewing the application — wouldn’t it look better if the statement is recent, rather than from a few weeks ago?
