Sorry to hear that. I'm not the most organised of people and fortunately have a visa for Thailand but I have backed all my online documents with paper copies. Including receipts. So hopefully will have a better experience than yourself.

They took the insurance into account when they issued the Thai pass. Yes, there is probably an element of money being made but no different from UK

I may be wrong here guys but this may reassure someone. I follow several sites concerned with visas/Thai pass and have yet to hear of anyone missing a flight because they haven't received their Thaipass.
