If you pay her monthly to be your gf you are hiring a gf.

However, if she is genuin, times are difficult in Thailand, there is no social care not like the UK.

Sending her gifts because you care is different to a contracted monthly payment. Only you know if she is genuine.

No. She does not need insurance for UK. If she gets sick in UK she will get looked after by NHS.

Any operation or expensive surgery you might be asked to pay. But no rules that you must pay.
