For example I am from the UK and have a British passport. It would be possible for me to get an Irish passport as well if my father was Irish.

A mate overstayed for about 5 yrs if not longer. He left Thailand then cameback no problem. He went to the airport with a lawyer who specialises with immigration when leaving Thailand.
