Just your passport. Either you will get your stamp or not, but normally you will. How quick it is depends on how busy the office is... 🙂

Everone can enter Thailand without being (fully) vaccinated, but have to do the 10 day quarantine then. The difference here is, that unvaccinated Thais don't need a negative Test before travelling. And all this vaccinated, unvaccinated, tested and untested people will sit together in the same plane... 😁

Yes, he can enter with the 30 day exemption, then apply for a Non-O here, that gives him 90 days to prepare for the one year extension based on retirement. Check the options here...
