Isn't it the case that if you have ANY visa in your passport then a return ticket is not required?

I will add that you can get the next visa inserted only during the last 6 months of the current sticker validity.

I know because I checked this with them

Now that is a pain, especially if you have 15 more years of membership due to be issued with multiple new stickers - means a lot of going back and forth to immigration in Bangkok, even if you're not in Bangkok!

Three options.

1) Don't tell them you moved

2) Don't do the report and pay the fine next time

3) Do it the hard but correct way.

Personally I always do number 3 but with COVID the way it is right now I would just miss one and pay the fine.

7 days, if you go over that it's 2000 Baht.

A cynic might suggest that once you reach day 8 then there's no reason at all to go to immigration until your visa needs extending because it's going to be 2000 Baht if it's 8 days or 300 days

Just pay the fine, 2000 Baht and nobody cares. I've skipped a few of them over the years.
