This question will be about an unusual 90 day check-in situation.

My next 90 day check-in is due in 24 November. I just renewed my passport (new number), then I received my one year visa extension, with multiple entry permit.

I'm visiting S Korea for a few days next week, returning to Thailand on 24 October.

I know that under normal circumstances, my first 90 day check-in after visa extension must be done in person AND the clock resets on the 90 day check-in from the day I return from Korea, making the new in-person 90 check-in date 24 February.

Since I have a new passport number, does that change anything?

My agency of multiple years seems to have dropped the ball on doing my 90-day checkin for me. They've done all of them no problem since I moved to Thailand in 2021, but I noticed they didn't email me as usual. When I inquired they said that, yes they'd done the check in for me but it was rejected. Has anyone been in this situation before? They're not being clear about what this means or what I need to do. Is it an emergency or something that can be smoothed over?

Silly question perhaps, but . . . When I acquire my retirement visa, 90 day check-ins with immigration. If I leave Thailand one month after my 90-day check-in and go to US for four months, I would miss a 90-day check in. I am hoping that once I reenter Thailand (with tentry permit) that would start the next 90-day check-in. Is that the case? The exit would stop the 90-day clock? TIA

For your information Monday July 22nd and Monday July 29th are public holidays so immigration offices will be closed.

This usually means that on the following Tuesday many offices will be super busy. Avoid going then if you can.

Land borders and airports are not affected by these closures.

Plan accordingly.

Just searching for clarification, on a renewed marriage visa, I forgot to do the 90 days check in from entry, I thought it was from when our renewal was approved. So now I’m considered late. Will I be able to get a reentry permit if we leave the country soon? Not due for another renewal until April 2025 but I didn’t know if there would be a hold up at the airport. Would rather just pay the 2K baht fee next year at renewal if possible. Thanks!

I have a retirement visa. I currently live in Samui and have already done 1 90 day check in. I went to the states and returned May 14 so my next 90 day will be August 14 but I will be living in Krabi that month. Can I do check in at Krabi immigration? TIA

Hi

I did all my immigration in udon and am on a years visa now. I have to check in at udon immigration every three months.

I am in rawai Phuket now and don’t really want to go back for the 13th May check in.

Can this check be done at Phuket immigration and if so what do I need to take with me. (No longer have support of Thai to come with me and sort out)

Just got 1 year stamp for NO Marriage Visa via Cheng Wattana with my bkk address.

-What is my next step? Online or In person 90 day check in?

-for next year removal I am thinking of moving to Hua Hin. Does anyone know if NO Marriage visa renewals are any easier in HH? BKK was a lot of headache.

The current extension of my non-O visa (retirement) expires on 6 April; my 90-day check-in is due by 3 April. Am I correct in assuming that applying for a one-year extension of the non-O visa (i.e., to stay another year) will not satisfy the requirement for the 90-day check-in?
