It’s 500 per certificate in Sakon Nakhon.

No and no. My stays are under 30 days due to the fact I’m still working in Australia. It might have been that I just use visa exempt stamps that they decided to check. There was no issue with getting the residency certificate.

This was 2 days ago. I needed a residency certificate and obviously they checked the system. I’d only got back 4 days previously.

Check with the Thai embassy of the country you are in. The requirements are very clearly described. I know of no requirement to have funds in anywhere for 6 months.
