I was actually wanting the 60 day visa, not the stamp.

They told me at the US consulate L.A. yesterday leave 30 days to get the evisa approved. I tried to apply within 8 days and didn't make it. They ended asking me for other documents. I used 50k usd coverage from a plan I have from Luma. They might not ask for that after the 1st of next month though.

I'm wanting to do some traveling but thanks.

Thanks! Doesn't look like they care about checking your flight origin.

Thanks. I'm going to look into it more. Just need to confirm what that PDF I need to present holds on it. If I do need to present it. I don't want to show up from Cambodia with a pdf saying I'm coming from U.S.

Have you done the evisa before. What do they look at when you come through Immigration? Is there a pdf or something you have to print up? If I did that, I'd get the 6 month multiple entry tourist visa. What the hell do I show them each time I come back? Or is it just digitally associated with your passport number and they see that when scanning it?

I assumed they looked at a paid ticket to Thailand from your home country. I've never done the e-visa. That would be awesome if that worked though.

Yeah. That's how it used to work. But this covid situation has a lot of embassies appointment only as well. So you need to check ahead what each embassy/consulate is doing.
