 could I ask similar question. My multi visa based on marriage ends soon. I want to stay 50 days after it expires. I can exit/enter Thailand before it expires or go local immigration for 60 day extension. Is there any advantage in either. Thanks.

 I'm 99 % sure you can go local immigration and extend for 60 days at the end of any 90 days.

And leave the country and come back in again just before the expiry date and you get another 90 days
