What should I do if my DTAC registration departure date is not accepting my UK departure date for Thailand?

I've just tried registering my dtac for my return to Thailand arriving 11th. It works fine until I put in leaving UK on the 10th, then says it won't accept that date, and turns red. It's now the 8th. I tried it again on the 9th, and again it accepts arriving on 11th, but not leaving on the 10th. So I've had to put leaving and arriving on 11th, which it accepts. I've now got my qr code but my departure date is wrong.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues with the DTAC registration for their return to Thailand, specifically with entering the departure date. They found that while they could enter their arrival date as the 11th, the system does not accept leaving the UK on the 10th, forcing them to set both dates to the 11th. Community comments suggest that the departure date is meant for leaving Thailand and is not mandatory, advising that as long as the arrival date is correct, there should be no issues. Users recommend leaving the departure field blank if travel plans are not fixed.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

Are you using the correct website. The only mandatory date is the date of arrival into Thailand. Fill out a new application

@Phil *****
as Graham Seal correctly pointed out (y) the Departure Information field is for when you are LEAVING Thailand

It is NOT a mandatory field, just leave it blank.
Graham ******
The departure date is when you leave Thailand not your origin and is not mandatory

I understand it is easy enough to obtain the form at Immigration checkpoint at the airport in Thailand.

I have put departure as the date when I am leaving Thailand and have faced no issues while entering Thailand. Arrival and departure are both related to Thailand. If it is long term stay and your departure is not fixed then leave those fields blank.

Possibly others have had a similar experience with the DTAC registration.

As long as your arrival date into Thailand is correct, you should be okay πŸ‘
