When applying for the visa extension for marriage do you get the TM7 form at immigration. And for the photos with your wife at the house can you take them on a mobile phone then print them off at a local shop on A4 size sheet. ? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa extension based on marriage to a Thai national, you will need the TM7 form, which can be obtained at the immigration office. Photos of you and your wife can be taken with a mobile phone and printed on A4 sheets, but it's advised to check specific requirements at your local immigration office as they vary. The common practice includes presenting multiple printed photos showing your living situation together. Always ensure to check local regulations as each immigration office may have different policies.

This thread is starting to become a discussion of "at my immigration office, they do..." post. Each immigration office has their own policies and procedures. Go to your immigration office and get the details on what they expect.

I think Phil has the information he needs, so I'm closing comments. Without Phil giving which immigration he's using, any other advice is just speculations.

I just did mine, immigration likes to see hard copies printed on photo paper and glued or stapled to a plain piece of A4. One has to have you and the family in front of the residence with the numbers clearly visible and at least one inside, like the lounge room.. I think first year there has to be one of the both of you in the bedroom.. I took photos with the phone ( they don't like selfies, I heard) so used a ladder as a stand.

Is it a problem if thai wife home officially in another province, but she and the husband live together in bkk rented place. (Husband did last 60 days extension in korat immigration...) i mean is it a problem if the photos will be from bkk location as a prove for relationship

they can ONLY get the year extension from the immigration office that serves the area where they actually live. SO if they live IN Bangkok they will apply for a year extension at the Chaengwattana Immigration office.

Many MANY thais are registered at the house book in one address (out of province) yet live in another address and there won't be any problem getting the extension

I downloaded the required documents from the internet and supplied 4 6in.x4in.photos ( they don't want a photo album) plus all other documents required. The process took about 15 minutes after waiting for my turn in the queue.

Just lodged my extension (marriage) application with Immigration on Tuesday.Friend of ours took about 20 photos on his phone and we had them printed on photo paper and mounted in small album. We then photo copied the required ones on a A4 sheet .We gave them 3 A4 sheets 4 photos per sheet. Also let immigration see the master photos in album if they wanted more, they did.

My advice would be to go to your local immigration office and ask them what their specific requirements are for the extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national.

I just have done and they gave me the list. But I'm home now and didn't ask where to obtain TM7 form or what sort of photos with wife are acceptable. ?
