Hi guys. Now that the covid extensions have been extended till March, Does anyone have a link to the British Embassy website where I can download the page stating the Embassy does not give out letters regarding being unable to travel due to covid.
I have a single entry Non O being married to a Thai that is stamped in till 7th March. I know I can extend it for 60 days but would like to stay in Thailand till june. I would like to try and get a covid extension first. Even though I know it is down to the discression of the individual immigration officer wether they will let me do that first, rather than insisting I use my Non O extension first.
I live in Chiang Rai.
Thanks in advance and really appreciate all the time and help you guys give out to everyone.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about obtaining a COVID extension for their Non O visa while living in Chiang Rai, Thailand, and seeks a link to the British Embassy website regarding the lack of issuance of travel restriction letters due to COVID. They mention their current visa status and express interest in extending their stay in Thailand until June.

Thanks Lloyd, I saw the update on the new rules after I posted my question. I noticed in your update that after tourist visas had been extended by 30 days, you are able to apply for 10 day extensions. Does that apply to Non O visas also? After I have extended it for 60 days due to visiting family, am I also allowed to apply for 10 day extensions? Thanks again for your reply.
nope ANY non-imm visa can't apply for a covid extension period. You get the extension based on the reason you have the visa, so your options IF you don't go today (the last day of the old program) are 60 day visit thai family extension OR a year extension based on what you have the visa for.
According to the new rules, unless you apply TODAY for a covid extension, you will be unable to as from tomorrow, because you entered on a Non-imm visa.
