Can we also add the requirement for landlords ID and housebook copy and lease agreement to this list of requirements. I'd also note that depending on his wife's arrival, she will have to quarantine for two weeks also thus cropping the timeline even more.

Got mine last month. They told me to bring my passbook updated on the date of collection showing the money still there! So. Money needs to be there 2 months before, then keep it there until you pick up your approved extension.

I don't know to be honest, only my personal situation . I'd actually asked our landlady who lives close to us, to redo the lease in joint names to try and stop any problems arising. I wasn't expecting the issue of the owners tabien baan and ID and so that took me by surprise and another visit!

Yes that's just a promise you will be a good boy and you need to sign to say you understand the penalties for overstaying. Don't stress it mate!

they will make you register yourself while you're there. They charged us 800baht!

Also take the owners ID copy and housebook if you're renting. This was a big issue for us and took a little sorting!

Take your wife! I did my 60 in April then got my year extension last month. They sent me home the first time because my wife wasn't with me. Luckily, we only live 5km away!
