FYI just come back from CW to pick up my non o extension based on marriage. I hadn't been asked to keep the 400k in the account until now (although I did) and was never asked to show the funds today, I tried to show them but they waved the bank book away.
I was asked however, to get a new photo taken this morning and then complained as it looked like the one they had already.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully obtained a NON-O visa extension based on marriage from the CW Bangkok Immigration Office without being asked to present their 400k baht in the bank account, although they had maintained it in compliance with previous guidelines. They were requested to take a new photograph for their application, but there was some discrepancy as the office referred to their previous photo. Another commenter noted that different immigration offices in Thailand may have varying requirements, which could explain the inconsistency.
