Earlier this year i got denied entry after a short trip out, I've been living in Thailand 16+ years, active work permit, invested millions of dollars of my own money in business and properties, employ many thais, heavily involved in charity, as well as responsible for huge amounts of money invested into Thailand via my businesses. Doesnt count for a thing if you get the wrong a-hole behind the counter.

My issue was all sorted in a couple of days, but a very horrible way for immigration to treat people, and i can understand why many travellers are ditching Thailand for more welcoming nearby countries.
