I was rejected as well, but was not given a reason and told to just reregister. I have now cancelled all my plans and will not be going. I do not like being played around with. I had met all the requirements. I will be taking my resources and spending them where I am treated better.

thanks for sharing that COE link. seems much quicker than going through the consulate. im shocked that they rejected this man's coe, it is clearly stated that visa exemptions are allowed.

to book any hotel for stv basically you need to contact the hotel. As none of they websites issue a hotel reservation letter with the tax id of the hotel.
