Oncology doesn't have long waiting lists. Other specialists have decades long waiting lists, I'll admit that. But life threatening cancer patients have no waiting list. My mum had breast cancer and instantly started treatment and had her surgery once she was diagnosed. There was no waiting at all.
No, they don't check it. Flew air asia a lot recently and they never check carry on. Some idiot was carrying 2 large pieces that clearly weighed combined over 20kg.
However air asia is the worst airline on the planet with highest delay rate across all, missed connections with budget airlines resulting in large financial losses for passengers. I will never fly with them if there's a connection with a different airline involved because you'll miss it 100% of the time. Every flight I took was delayed by 2-6 hours
Fill your bottle in the airport. Its 299 one way with batik from Adelaide. Over 1k with singapore. Are you really gonna complain about paying an extra $12 for a meal when you're saving $700 on a one-way flight?
Singapore is amazing but it's the most expensive carrier, even worse than Qantas. Their flights are double to tripple the price of Batik for a one-way.
Common 'up to you' guilting strategy... Makes the customer overpay. Very smart, dont underestimate thais when it comes to money. General knowledge, they have none - but money, they are extremely clever.
That's all correct and the low IQ is not exclusive to Thailand, it's common in most of south east asia. I will however argue this point, Thailand is still an amazing place to live and a great country with lots to offer in terms of lifestyle. Being an English teacher would obviously be miserable but if you have money already or an easy online source of income, Thailand can still be paradise. The thai people can often ruin the experience with their dishonesty, racism and greed but it's the same in all poor countries.
