a few months ago when I applied for a tourist visa while I was there. They asked for a residency card and didn’t accept my documents because I didn’t have one (was on vacation)
You're saying it's not legal, so if you're paying an agent and the agent does it for you, does that make it legal? Why use the terms "legal" or "not legal" in this context?
Sounds good! Let's screenshot this and see how it plays out in a real situation after opening the account. If I succeed, then I'm right; if not, you’ll be right. And DTV is definitely not a tourist visa (unless you just want to call it that, in which case I’ll call it the "COOL visa").
I see, thanks. Do you have any suggestions on how to open an account and which bank to choose (without involving agents)? In my opinion, this group needs to be cleared of people selling services, agents, and fake profiles so that people can get real answers from actual visa holders, not just fear-mongering and disinformation.
People opened bank accounts with ED visas in the past, so what's the problem with a 5-year visa to open one? It seems a little strange, so we need more real cases of why people were declined and how they successfully opened accounts. The rest seems like internet fake news to help agents get new customers.
I'm not a fan of paying people for nothing. In the modern century, banks should be happy to have nomads depositing money with them, just like many international banks do worldwide.
It depends on your work. If you are a designer, for example, in my opinion, using color is better. It makes things more visible, effective, easy on the eyes, and attractive.
