For Chonburi, to acquire an extension of stay, in some situations, they want a person to go to immigration for the last week of the "ADMITTED TO" stamp. For Chonburi, to acquire an in-country visa, they NEED AT LEAST 15 days remaining on the "ADMITTED TO" stamp. SOME immigration offices require at least 21 days.

If you are approved for the in-country non-o visa, the turnaround time is 15 days for Chonburi, if my memory serves me right.
