TLDR : Answer Summary
The usual waiting time for approval of an in-country Non-O visa application in Chon Buri is typically around 15 days; however, approval can occur on the same day if all paperwork is in order. Additionally, applicants are required to obtain a medical certificate and a police report, which can be sourced from local medical facilities and police stations, respectively.

You get the visa the same day you apply if your paperwork/docs are all in order.

I believe they can ask for medical and police clearance but not always necessary probably depends on the immigration office. May want to check with them in case it's not required.

If you are approved for the in-country non-o visa, the turnaround time is 15 days for Chonburi, if my memory serves me right.

You need 15 days left on your existing stay to apply(21 days at some Imm Offices). The visa is issued immediately if your paperwork is in order.

For Chonburi, to acquire an extension of stay, in some situations, they want a person to go to immigration for the last week of the "ADMITTED TO" stamp. For Chonburi, to acquire an in-country visa, they NEED AT LEAST 15 days remaining on the "ADMITTED TO" stamp. SOME immigration offices require at least 21 days.

You can contact them at
