Depends on the Embassy/Consulate where you apply. If you do it's only 90 days and most people have insurance anyway.

Yes if you entered visa exempt on the 27th December which I'm assuming you did. You can apply for a 30 days extention of stay.

It's the same visa. Extentions depends on individual situations, marriage extention ties up less funds. Each to their own

Where was this? Many Imm Offices will only give you the 60 days extention, not both
