I use Transferwise ( now called WISE ) .

First transaction took a few days because my UK bank flagged up unusual activity ( no issues with that, I'm pleased they check ) ... since then , no issues.

I opened SCB account on TR visa , no issues. Had to explain a few details but that was down to the lady not being able to read English.

Is moving to Thailand in 2021 with a Special Tourist Visa expensive and complicated due to quarantine requirements?

15 nights quarantine.... but the cost includes pick up at airport by your hotel, 3 meals a day, daily health checks and 2 covid tests..... also water, tea, coffee, snacks in room too

it was for me :) maybe I was lucky but all online forms completed first time and accepted. Visa granted without issue, COE completed and granted within about an hour. As I said ... I must be lucky.
