I doubt there is a problem. And just flying there and worst case applying again: is most likely cheaper than just applying again.

Very worst case: you get a 2 month arrivied stamp and have 2 month time to think how to sort it out.

Can you use the Moreta app for QR payments in Thailand without a local bank account?

Get a standard banking app. As far as I know: you can register an credit card with it (no need for a bank account). - no idea how much that would cost, but a 3% fee is absurd expensive.

3% from 1000 is 30 ... just saying.
