My Thai wife and I had the same pleasant experience,I have normally gone in the general line & wife through the Thai bar/line.we were also Approached by a friendly officer and directed to the new seniors line,I had my e-visa document/passport and we were processed in 2mins by a young friendly officer.It was a very pleasant experience.

23 yrs with my wife.NO sin sot,family has embraced me and knows that we are totally committed,never once have I been expected to support her family.Do NOT start on the wrong foot asumeing you have to constantly provide money to the family.True Thailand families would be offended.
