They could have edited themselves, I sent them a high-res scan of my passport, that's about 10 seconds work. That's the prime joke here anyway , I suppose
The snarky responses were referring to anticipated responses in here after me making such a simple mistake. The 80 pages were not a resume, as mentioned it was a portfolio mostly consisting of a lot of numbers and math, I didn't expect anybody to read that in full, but I guess it fulfilled the criteria.
DTV_BegPecker In some countries/region you need to be a resident to apply. Also in some countries you need to run a company to do the job that I'm doing, that's why I was asking, but thanks
For the record, I did not give a wrong PP number, it was scanned in and even displayed correctly on that page 2. It was just that software bug that converts its incorrectly to the final page. Documented here before. But yeah, in the end it doesn't even matter...
Can I ask a related question? I didn't find anything when searching the group. So I have this Dr. in my last name (in some countries they will add this to your name after completing a doctorate, not many though). In terms of a PP it's a complete mess, I often get complaints at the airport either because I added the title or not (often times you have no choice anyway in the booking form). Thanks for the tips with the MRZ, so in my current PP that is not part of the MRZ. So you think it is ok to put it as title? In my previous PP it is part of the MRZ. Again, complete mess. Any ideas?
Airplane check-in bags are usually the worst option as for price. The cheapest is usually partial-container loads, yes, but might take several weeks to arrive and you have to find a reliable provider that won't rip you off and have to deal with customs in your country and TH (you'd have to do that too on the flight, ofc you can try to go through the green lane but will not always work, basically illegal if you bring valuable items)
