At the airport it will be too late. Maybe call the nearest Thai consulate asking if they can help, or a friend, neighbor, concierge or travel agent

If you are on the east coast of the US Spain is ofc much closer than Thailand. Else you are probably using the wrong search engines, many airlines fly to TH. BKK has 60m passengers a year

You can keep a German company with 0 days in Germany as long as you have a company correspondence address in Germany address which is usually easy to set up. But depending on what you do exactly a German company can have higher taxes and/or higher bureaucracy than even if you would do the exact same thing in Germany with a foreign company. But I understand some clients may prefer a local company for various reasons.

Exactly this. It was discussed before around here, you might have missed it. Yes, it may be confusing but your place of issue (except for very special cases) is always your passport country. Note place of issue is not place of residence which is mentioned in some passports. All passports are normally issued in the PP country even if the holder lives abroad

Thanks for the info. Actually I followed this group and related ones fairly well, or so I thought, and so far I didn't read many negative things about that. I was just about to prepare my docs in the coming days (I am HKPR, currently in HK, would be using HK bank account, am currently HK tax resident etc.) But I can go elsewhere if it is better, what would you suggest? According to the group maybe Saigon??

Forget about that. Thai authorities are hunting these kind of activities, can land you in jail. Get another visa, employ 5 Thais, then you're in.

Even if the govt was willing, most Thais just don't have the money that would be needed to get a proper theoretical and practical education. So yeah, that's not gonna happen.
