Some people suggested that I screenshot a picture I took in my camera roll during my stay in Vietnam, but I don’t think that’s what I was told to do. The instructions did mention that they need “a selfie,” so I submitted a selfie of me holding a Starbucks receipt that shows the date and time, and I circled the city on the receipt next to my hotel sign. I hope that in the future, if anyone encounters the same situation, they make sure to follow the instructions - they need a selfie, so you should give them a selfie, not a screenshot. Shortly after I submitted my selfie, my visa status changed to “Pending Approval.” 🥳 Fingers crossed.
