contacting the Embassy is a good idea. I'm financially prepared to get myself there and settled. But I would definitely need a job straight away.

I understand not all companies hire foreigners. So hopefully I can leverage my English fluency to find a position that doesn't infringe on the locals.

this is a part of the beginning of my research. I visited Thailand several times. Longest being one month, however it was structure tourism. I'm aware the stark differences when moving permanently. I'm trying to educate myself.
