I don’t plan to spend 15k the couple months I’m there, just looking to stay and travel longer since they reduced the tourist visa. I have online income so I would prefer to travel sooner rather than later. I guess I could borrow half the money and keep it in my account for a couple months and then pay it back when I leave or pay it off gradually.

ah didn’t know it can lead to a ban. And 20k? I was told 15k but I guess each embassy or source of info is different/not standardized. Thanks for the info I’ll just wait and save.
